PayPal’s expansion of their Chicago office space in the Merchandise Mart features branding that celebrates their iconic logo, infuses the flavor of Chicago’s local art scene, and emphasizes one of the organization’s top values - collaboration.

Oversized lettering brings PayPal’s brand colors into the space and wraps corners down a corridor, guiding employees and guests through the expanded space.

 

Brand colors continue to be celebrated throughout the space with layered linework in the cafe and logo feature moment.

 
 
 

Custom murals by Chicago-based artists Nate Otto (lower left) and Liz Flores (lower right) adorn partitions that separate workstations, infusing the feel of the city in the space.

 

This colorful mural by Brett Whittacre energizes the focused work area and creates subtle wayfinding between workstation neighborhoods.

 
 
 

New employees and visitors are greeted with a “Welcome to Chicago” message and adjacent dimensional letters create two photo op moments for the Training Room.

 

PayPal’s iconic monogram logo is creatively expressed through multiple mediums throughout the space.
